Gabriel Trajtenberg M.Sc.
Gabriel (Gaby) Trajtenberg is one of Israel’s leading structural engineers, uniquely specialized in precasted and industrialized buildings. Gaby was a senior lecturer at the Technion, as well as a member of many expert committees, an expert court witness, and a mediator and arbitrator.
Trajtenberg was born in 1956, in the city of La Plata, Argentina.
He immigrated to Israel in 1976 to continue his studies at the Technion Institute in Haifa.
After his military service in the IDF Air Defense Corps, Trajtenberg volunteered for service in the reserves as an engineering consultant to the Home Front Command.
He is a member of the Israeli Association of Construction & Infrastructure Engineers (IACIE) and the Israel Organization of Consulting Engineers & Architects (IOCEA).
Served as the organization’s representative to the Defense Ministry's Committee for the Selection of Planners from 2001-2003.
Graduate of Mediators' Course at the Israel Center for Negotiation & Mediation (ICNM).
Graduate of Expert Witnesses' Course at the Israeli Experts Institute.
Graduate of Arbitrators' Course at the Israeli Experts Institute.
Graduate of the program for broad experience in mediation – The Israel Center for Mediation and Resolution of Conflicts – The Ministry of Justice.
Holds a Mediator’s Certificate from the Courts Administration.
Member of the Comptrollers Committee of the Israel Organization of Consulting Engineers & Architects (IOCEA) during 2001-2003.
Member of the Governing Council of the Structural Engineering Section of the Israeli Association of Construction & Infrastructure Engineers. 2003 – 2005.
Representative of the Israeli Association of Construction & Infrastructure Engineers at the TAMA 38 Steering Committee.
From 2007 to 2019 – senior lecturer at the Technion Institute.
Member of Experts Committee 11023 – facing walls with natural stone: prefabricated elements and industrial methods.
Served as an expert giving opinions on behalf of the court in many different cases.
Mediator in the successful resolution of several disputes, solved through mediation.
Arbitrator and mediator in the successful resolution of several disputes, solved through arbitration.
Representative of the Engineers' Organization at the Central Committee for Building Standards at the Standards Institution of Israel (SII).
Milestones:
1980 - Completed undergraduate studies at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology – B.Sc. in Civil Engineering.
1986 - Received Master of Science (M.Sc.) In Civil Engineering from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.
Since 1985, manager of Gabriel Trajtenberg Engineers, Ltd., an independent office for structural design in buildings and civil engineering.
Since 2012, manager of A.T. Engineers – Construction and Civil Engineering (358) Ltd., an independent office for structural design in buildings and civil engineering.
From 2007 to 2019 – senior lecturer at the Technion Institute
