Special Projects

The office has designed special buildings and structures using various materials, including composite materials.

As part of our civil engineering works, the office has provided engineering support for a unique Israeli innovation: support walls in reinforced soil. This innovation, developed by Kal Binyan Industries and known as the Kal-Sar method, received a registered U.S. Patent. Several highly successful support wall sites have been built in Israel using the Kal-Sar method.

The office has experience designing bridges (road bridge in the Tel Baruch neighborhood of north Tel Aviv), including pedestrian bridges. Gabriel Trajtenberg designed the bridge connecting Bavli Park with Yarkon Park in Tel Aviv, built from multi-layered wood and steel.
